Robinson: We Will Get It Right

ImageAndy Robinson admits Edinburgh's inability to cross the whitewash has hindered the team's progress over recent weeks but stressed that improvements will be made in time for the opening Heineken Cup Pool match against Leinster at Murrayfield on Saturday 11 October, kick off 1.35pm.

Despite dominating for long periods at Ulster, Edinburgh were on the receiving end of a narrow 13-9 Magners League defeat at Ravenhill.

But Robinson recognises where the team is going wrong and believes a more efficient performance is in store next weekend.

Remember to take advantage of Edinburgh's innovative 'Kids Go 4 Free' offer. Every Adult who pre-purchases a ticket ahead of Saturday's match (Adults: _20, call 0131 346 5180) is entitled to bring in FOUR children (under-18) for absolutely NOTHING. Great value entertainment for the whole family at the home of Scottish Rugby - ARE YOU IN?

Robinson said: "We played pretty well for the first 20 minutes, but we just didn't score. It is frustrating that we can't seem to buy a try at the moment " that is one thing that is really disappointing.

"We had a couple of opportunities, but didn't take them. Then Ulster got a breakaway try, but unfortunately the ball was not_in touch " even though the touch judge said: "play on."

"We were disappointed with the way we performed tonight, but it is a collective thing. It is something that we"ve all got to take responsibility for and sort out.

"We can't make scapegoats out of players. Games are won and lost by small margins and that is what we have done in our last two times here at Ravenhill.

"We need to build ourselves up for the game against Leinster. We need to put together a complete 80-minute display rather than perform in patches and we will be working hard to put it right ahead of our match against Leinster."
