Scottish Thistles 63 - 0 Tamariva
The Scottish Thistles recorded their second win of the SSC International rugby Sevens in Singapore today with another substantial scoreline, this time against Japanese side Tamariva.
The Scots scored four tries in the first half to storm to a 28-0 lead at the break. Grant Anderson, Mike Adamson, Ashleah McCulloch and Rory Hutton all crossed the line with Adamson converted all scores.
In the second period, Chris Fusaro and Graham Hogg made the scoresheet with McCulloch notching his second of the game and Roddy Grant bagging two of his own.
Speaking after the final whistle, coach Stephen Gemmell said: "We built on our first performance of the day and stuck to the task extremely well. We also continued to be a constant threat in attack by coming onto the ball at pace.
We're now looking forward to our last game of the day against the Arabian Gulf."
