Tickets for one of the most highly anticipated competitions in world rugby go sale on Wednesday 26 November at 9am.

To improve customer service Scottish Rugby is opening a dedicated 24-hour RBS 6 Nations ticket hotline (0871 200 1511) to cater for the demand for the much sought after fixtures against Wales, Italy and Ireland.

Boosted by the progress made across all three Autumn Tests, which included a narrow defeat to world champions South Africa and an emphatic six-try victory over Canada, the squad are looking to build on the improvements shown during the Tests and stake a claim for one of world rugby's most venerable trophies.

Scotland captain, Mike Blair, said: "I believe we can take some credit from the three Bank of Scotland Corporate Autumn Tests.

There were elements of frustration in all three games and the fact there were periods where we dominated possession and territory without being able to capitalise on the scoreboard was not lost on the players or coaching staff.

_x001C_I believe we showed we could be competitive against the top two teams in the world, New Zealand and South Africa, the game against the World Cup holders underlining that we are capable of beating sides of that calibre, and that is our collective mindset, which we will take in to the 2009 RBS 6 Nations Championship."

Scotland will host current champions Wales (8 February), Italy (28 February) and Ireland (14 March) at Murrayfield as they challenge for the 2009 RBS 6 Nations Championship.

Tickets are priced at £30, £45 and £60 for adults for the games against Wales and Ireland with under-18s' tickets priced at £15, £22.50 and £30 for those matches. Adult tickets for the Italy game are £20, £30 and £60 with concessions for under-18s and students at £10, £15 and £30.

Tickets, available 24-hrs a day on the dedicated hotline (0871 200 1511) and online, are expected to sell fast so buy now to avoid disappointment.
