Gordonians Aim To Get Back In Gear

After last week’s postponed cup tie (now rearranged for Saturday 14 February), Gordonians travel south on Saturday to play Waysiders Drumpellier RFC.

The Coatbridge team is currently in fourth position in National League Division 3 but have two games in hand on second placed Allan Glen’s. Mind you, Gordonians themselves are only ten points behind their hosts and know that a win would do them a power of good in terms of their prospects for the rest of the season.

Waysiders will be formidable opposition, however, as they are unbeaten at home in the league this season and will be looking to do the double over GRFC, having already recorded a 14-0 victory at Countesswells in September. Gordonians simply didn’t get into gear during that game and will be hoping for a much better performance and a different result from their visit to Lanarkshire this weekend.

The match kicks off at 2.00pm at Langloan, Coatbridge.
