Positive Signs Against Older Opponents

Scotland under-18 held up well against a powerful and physical Viadana under-20 Academy side that boasted nine Italian under-20 internationals - four in the pack.

Despite losing 28-15 the side displayed definite signs of improvement crossing the whitewash either side of the half through wing Courtenay Morrison and outside-centre Henry Oliver.

Stuart Edwards put Scotland's first points on the board from a penalty before the two tries tries - replacement Gregor Hunter added the extras to Oliver's try to complete their scoring.

Scotland are now just days away from 5 Nations encounters against strong age-grade competition from England (Wednesday 15 May) and Wales (Saturday 18 May).
