Old Scores To Settle Against Selkirk On Saturday

Two Dundee High players have an added incentive to make the squad to play Selkirk on Saturday. The last time the Souters were in Tayside they snatched a Scottish Hydro Cup win against a Perthshire side that contained Matt Smith and James Fleming who have so far played in all three of Dundee’s games this season.

“That was a close game and we probably should have won,” said Matt, “We had the backs then but perhaps were not up to speed in the forwards. This time, with Dundee, the pack is immense and we have plenty firepower behind them.”

James is equally keen to be involved and renew the rivalry he enjoyed with Premier 1 player of the year and Scotland Club International full-back, Fraser Harkness. In typically modest fashion James couldn’t recall his hat-trick that day saying, “I scored one or two and hopefully I can get on the score sheet again this time round although I’d just settle for a win.”
