Many in Ayrshire rugby and elsewhere in Scotland will be saddened by the death of Frank Harrow. He was 68.
Frank was a Kilmarnock rugby man through and through. He played at centre for the club, and he later was a well-known and much respected office-bearer. He was a Kilmarnock committee member for 40 years and club secretary for more than 30. His long service to rugby was recognised with a Lifetime Achievement trophy at Glasgow Rugby’s 2005 awards dinner.
Bill Nolan, a fellow Ayrshire man who is Scottish Rugby’s representative on the International Rugby Board, said: “Frank was committed rugby man who was devoted to his club and rugby. He was an amateur who was professional in all that he did for the game. Our thoughts are with his wife, Rita, and family.”
The funeral will take place on THURSDAY 31st December 2009, 1100am at Derghorn Creatorium, near Irvine,
