Selkirk Youth Club finished off their season with a 7s win at the final tournament of the Team Motiv8tor Semi-Junior Sevens Series 2009-10‏ at Jed Thistle 7's last Saturday.
This meant that the Youth Club had won 7 out of the 8 Tournament only suffering defeat at their own 7s against Haddington Colts in the final. They ended up with 77 points out of a total of 80 in the Semi Junior series.
It has been an outstanding season for Selkirk Youth Club who won the Scottish Borders Semi Junior League by winning 21 out of 21 games throughout the season with 1130 points scored for and only 86 being conceded.
To add to this they were runners up at Merchiston Castle 7s in March to Edinburgh Academy and at Easter had a very successful trip to Northern Ireland where they won the Dromore under 19 7s Tournament.
