New Kit Partnership For Edinburgh Rugby

International sporting goods manufacturer, Macron, is to become the new technical sponsor and kit manufacturer of Edinburgh Rugby, it was announced today.

The six-figure, three-year deal will see the Italian firm become the official licensee of first team and replica merchandise for the capital club.

Nic Cartwright, Edinburgh Rugby CEO, said: "We are delighted to welcome Macron to Edinburgh Rugby in what is a landmark deal for the club at what is a great time to partner with Edinburgh Rugby.

"With the Italian teams coming into the Magners League next season, it's a great fit and underlines the value of club's brand to investors in the UK and overseas. Everyone is very excited about how Macron will help us grow as a club.

"Having an Italian partner will assist our commercial growth and Macron have already shown themselves to be innovative, committed and exciting people to work with - I'm sure our supporters will be very pleased with the new shirt which will be unveiled later this summer, as well a great new range of supporting replica kit."

Specialists in the conception, design, prototyping and marketing of hi-tech apparel for professional and amateur clubs around the world, Macron currently supply kit for Real Mallorca, AS Monaco and Napoli, and will also add English Premiership side West Ham Utd to their portfolio next season.
