Lions Rampant University Of St Andrews Rfc Annual 7S Tournament



The biggest student Sevens event in the UK will be at University Park in St Andrews on Saturday 16th April 2011, Sponsored by Lions Rampant.

32 Teams from across the country will be attempting to play Exciting, free flowing champagne rugby all day from a 9.30am start until the Plate and Cup finals at around 5pm.


The event regularly gathers some of the nations top 7s Talent and over the years some of Scotland and Englands’s professional players have graced University park attracting thousands of spectators. 

Standard of play is extremely high and the pace of the game is not for the faint hearted. 4rugby pitches all with games at the same time ensure wherever you go you will see the talent on show (on and off the field).

Beer tent accessible to all (over18s only, ID May be required), Lions Rampant Clothing for Sale on the day, Latest Music in the air, BBQ and a great day out with friends and teammates




Post Rugby Action will then be celebrated in our fantastic NEW location for the 7th Heaven After Party, allowing all players, supporters and 7s enthusiasts to enjoy what will be a HUGE night.


The 7th Heaven after Party will be hosted in a very Large Marquee in the inside of the Athletics Track right next to the playing pitches.


After Party wristbands will be on sale all week outside the Union between 11am and 4pm each day, and of course at the pitches on the day.


Wristbands will be £20 and will include a FREE burger for all evening guests.


We have cheap drinks, great music and sensational banter!


There will be DJ sets from 3 of the finest Student DJ's in the town:

**DJ Hallister** - An up and coming young DJ with an eye for a great crowd pleaser.

**Toby Martin Hughes** - A weekly set played at Ma Bells each Friday night, Toby plays fantastic up to date tunes and has played on the undercard of the likes of Mylo and Erol Alkan.

**Tom Lockyer** - Tom is no stranger to big crowds and has most recently played FS:2011, along with regular nights at clubs in his hometown, Wakestock 2010 and Starfields. A very talented young DJ, he is not shy in dropping huge tunes and bootlegs. Some of his previous work is available on the following links:
