Scottish Rugby are saddened to hear of the death of Heriot's Honorary Vice President Graham Fraser who passed away on Saturday 1 October following a short illness.
Our thoughts are with his daughter Jacqui, his son Scott and the rest of his family.
Graham was Heriot's President when the club won back to back league championships in seasons 1998/99 and 1999/00. He played second row for the club's 1st XV in seasons 1956, 1957 & 1958. A proud Herioter he was also a member of Heriot's Cricket Club.
Graham served as a liaison officer to various touring sides including the Wallabies on several occasions, the All Blacks in 2001, the Springboks during the 1999 Rugby World Cup and England Under-21s during the 2004 Under-21 World Cup.
In his professional career he worked for The British Linen Bank, Guinness and Tupperware for whom he was national manager covering Scotland and Ireland.
His funeral will take place at 12 noon on Tuesday 11th October at Warriston Crematorium followed by a wake at Heriot's Rugby Club to which all are welcome.
