Last Friday a very successful quiz night was held in the clubrooms ably hosted by quizmaster and question-setter Davy Cornwall. In a packed hall 24 teams were put through some interesting mental gymnastics with the final winners turning out to be ‘Karen’s Team’. Over £1250 was raised for the Alex Noble Appeal from the raffle and auction held after the Jed game, from the quiz night and from donations handed in. A big thanks from Chris Noble to all involved. Donations can also be made via www.bmycharity.com/AlexNobleAppeal
