George Watson’s College under-16 captain, Alistair Miller and Edinburgh Academy under-18 captain, Chris Dean spoke of their excitement in winning the Brewin Dolphin Scottish Schools Cups after the double-header at Murrayfield today.
Miller said: “We were really up for this game, but we were nervous and didn’t know what to expect.
“It was so good playing on the international pitch at Murrayfield, I have never done it before, but I definitely hope to do it again.”
Dean said: “Absolutely fantastic! A lot of us have played with each other for a very long time, so it’s really paid off. This is a great way to finish off my Schools rugby.
“This was the toughest match of the year, all credit to Watson’s their defence was fantastic.”
