Balmer Eager For Cross Keys Contest

Scotland Women will line up against their Welsh counterparts tomorrow with a renewed vigour and determination to improve on last Sunday's performance against England.

Following training in Newport this afternoon (see photo) team captain and prop, Tracy Balmer, said: "We've worked hard to correct the tweaks we had in defence [last weekend] and are looking forward to getting more ball and really showing what we can do."

The match kicks off at Cross Keys RFC at 1pm - team details are below. To read Scotland Women squad captain Susie Brown's blog, click here. Follow the game tomorrow on Twitter @scotlandteam

Balmer added: "Last season we were a very new squad and just getting to know each other. There's a really good atmosphere within the team - no cliques - and everybody has gelled really well. Everyone is really positive and looking forward to the game."
