Supporters heading to tomorrow’s Heineken Cup quarter-final between Edinburgh and Toulouse at Murrayfield will have their chance to savour another glamour occasion next month.
Tickets will be available at Murrayfield to enjoy all the thrills and high-octane spills of the Emirates Airline Glasgow 7s at Scotstoun Stadium, Glasgow on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 May. The tournament, which will be staged in Glasgow for the first time, is part of the HSBC 7s World Series and features the best international sevens teams in the world.
Scotland 7s manager John Manson said: “All of Scotland is behind Edinburgh in their Heineken Cup quarter-final against Toulouse and we know what that level of support means to players.
“Supporters who come to Murrayfield tomorrow will be able to buy their tickets for the next leg of the HSBC 7s World Series, at the Emirates Airline Glasgow 7s next month and I’d encourage fans to leap at the chance and come along to Scotstoun to support Scotland against some of the best sevens players on the planet.”
Tickets for the festival and party stands at Scotstoun would normally be priced at £15 for adults but anyone buying tomorrow will be able to enjoy a £5 discount. Students, under-18s and senior citizens can buy for £7.50 tomorrow.
There’s also an extra incentive. Four supporters who buy their tickets tomorrow will win at random the chance for them and one friend to have lunch with the Scotland 7s squad in the build-up to the Glasgow tournament.
The tickets for the Emirates Airline Glasgow 7s can be bought from a trailer behind Murrayfield’s East Stand, which will be open from 1pm tomorrow.
