Howe Travel To Capital With Legacy Lead

The second leg of the Legacy Sevens Series will take place at Meggetland in Edinburgh tomorrow night (Friday 27 April) with the Boroughmuir Sevens.

Some 12 teams, including last weekend’s Striling County Sevens champions Howe of Fife, will compete for the silverware and for the lead in the title race for the Legacy Sevens Series.               

The first match will kick-off at 6pm with the hosts Boroughmuir going head-to-head with their capital counterparts Edinburgh University on pitch one and Stewart’s/Melville FP taking on Bruce Hay Chiefs on pitch two.

The tournament will then conclude with the Plate and Cup finals at 8.40pm and 9pm respectively. However, the entertainment will continue into the night with live music and food available until 1am. Tickets for the event are £5 with under-16s free.
