Scotland 7s head coach Graham Shiel has been forced to make a last minute change to his squad to play in Moscow this weekend in the second leg of the FIRA-AER GP European Sevens Series.
Jed-Forest full-back Lewis Young failed a late fitness test and is replaced by Hartpury College full-back Graham Speirs.
Shiel said: “Graham was brought to my attention by Edinburgh City DO Ruaridh Pye. I’m very interested to see what he can offer in the abbreviated game.”

The Scots will take on Germany at 7.22am (BST), Italy at 10.28am (BST), Spain at 1.34pm (BST) and Portugal at 3.56pm (BST) on Saturday (30 June). They will complete the group stage at 8.06am (BST) against France on Sunday (1 July) before moving into a Cup, Plate or Bowl semi-final. Russia is three hours ahead of British Summer Time.
