Tonight 's much anticipated Heineken Cup match against Top 14 side Castres,will go ahead as planned this evening at Scotstoun Stadium (kick-off 7:35pm).
The ground crew have worked hard this week to manage the pitch in the snow and freezing conditions experienced in Glasgow and they"ve done a great job._ The current conditions at Scotstoun are mild and the the sun is shining._ Looks like it's going to be a great night for rugby, if a little on the chilly side!
With the team ready to take to the field determined to get a first Heineken Cup win of the season under their belt, expect a a committed and attacking display from the Warriors.
Once you arrive at the stadium, visit The Clubhouse which will be open from 6PM._ You will find a full selection of beers, wines and soft drinks, as well as hot food and entertainment._ Before the game you will gain some insight into the Warriors" preparations from the front this week with prop forwards Ofa Faingu"anuku and Ed Kalman talking to the fans just after 7PM." Glasgow Warriors Kidszone will open at 6pm with young Warriors fans given the opportunity to participate in our Passing Challenge and Try Line Tussle inflatables. Warriors" stars will also be in the Kidzone signing autographs and handing out complimentary team posters.
Unfortunately, the pre-match and half-times games between St. Aloysious College and Wellington School have been cancelled due to the conditions of the 3G pitch.
