Your 1872 Cup Info

The biggest match-night of the season is nearly upon us. To help you plan your whole evening from start to finish here is your guide to Glasgow Warriors first ever 1872 Cup match at Scotstoun Stadium. You just know it is going to be a memorable night on and off the field!

PRE-MATCH

Start your Christmas festivities early. Get along to Scotstoun early and enjoy all that is on offer.

"" _From 4:30pm High School of Dundee, Dumfries RFC, Stirling RFC and Hutchesons Grammar under-18 teams will play a round robin event on the 3G pitch. If you are able to come along early please enter through the south-west turnstiles from 3:00pm. Catering will be available from this time."
"" _Glasgow Warriors Clubhouse will open at 4:30pm. Due to licensing only soft drinks can be sold until the turnstiles and bar opens at 6:00pm prompt. From 6:00pm a wide variety of hot and cold drinks will be available.""
"" _Food will be on sale in the Clubhouse from 6:00pm. Warriors fans can enjoy a renowned Mr Singhs curry and a pint for _10. Pies and hotdogs will also be available in the Clubhouse._ All catering and bar outlets will open at this time."
"" _Glasgow Warriors Kidszone will open from 6pm. Why not come along and_try our try-line tussle and passing challenge. Meet Clyde mascot and test your skills against some of Glasgow Warriors Elite Development Players._ Warriors players will be in the inflatable dome signing autographs, giving out free posters and posing for photos from 6:30pm."
"" _At around 7pm Glasgow Warriors players will drop into the Clubhouse to be interviewed by match MC Gavin Pearson. Hear about what the training preparations have been for this all important encounter."
"" _High School of Glasgow pipe band will take to the pitch at 7:10pm to help build up the atmosphere in time for kick-off (7:35pm)

HALF-TIME

Dumfries RFC and High School of Dundee P6 and P7 mini-teams will provide your half-time entertainment as they showcase their rugby skills. _
Please show them your support as they take centre stage.

POST-MATCH

Don't let your evening end after the final whistle. Stay and meet the players, chat rugby and dance the evening away. It is Christmas after all."_
"" _Warriors players will sign autographs shortly after the final whistle. Follow the stewards" instructions to the East Terrace and the players will meet you there for photos and autographs."
"" _Gavin Pearson will return to the Clubhouse after the final whistle with Warriors forwards coach Shade Munro to dissect all the action and look ahead to the deciding leg of the 1872 Cup battle."
"" _Glasgow band the Full Bhoona will perform a live set of well known cover tunes in the Clubhouse until 11pm.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION

To ensure you have the best time possible we have put together a few key points for the evening. Make sure you read these over_before you leave for the match on Friday.
"" _To allow you to locate your seats easily please arrive early and enter through the allocated turnstiles
"" _The ticket office will open at 10am for collections and any remaining sales.
"" _Remember to check the weather forecast before you leave_but we would_advise you to wear warm clothes.
"" _Please check Transport Scotland_before you leave and allow plenty of time for your journey.
"" _Trains to Scotstounhill Station run alternatively every 15 minutes from Queen Streetand Glasgow Central. Scotstounhill Station is just a 10 minute walk from the stadium, following the directional signage.
