Caithness Touch Rugby Fundraiser Helps To Develop And Grow Club

Last weekend Caithness Rugby Club completed a 24 hour touch rugby challenge and raised between four and five thousand pounds to go towards plans for a new clubhouse.

More than 100 players, of all ages, got involved in the challenge, as well as some new faces the club hopes will become regular members.

Club development officer, Colin Sangster, said: “This was a great event and it was good to see new players coming along, hopefully we will have some new members as a result.

“I feel this type of event is great for bringing the whole club together.”
