Rugby World Cup 7s set to be a special and competitive occasion

Scotland 7s head coach, Stephen Gemmell, has spoken exclusively to about the forthcoming Rugby World Cup 7s in Moscow next week (28-30 June).

In the interview he discusses how special this opportunity is for the 12 selected players, the benefit of the training camp this week in Largs and the intensity of a 24 team tournament that only sees the top teams in each group and the best two runners up advance to the Cup competition.

Scotland 7s will open their Rugby World Cup 7s campaign, where they will compete in Group B, against Japan on Friday 28 June at 7.36pm (local-time).

They will then complete their group against hosts Russia at 1.02pm and then South Africa at 7.16pm on Saturday 29 June (both times local).
