In pleasant 25+ degree heat today, Scotland 7s kicked off their preparations in Moscow ahead of Friday’s match against Japan (7.36pm, local time), their first in the 2013 Rugby World Cup 7s.
The team undertook a gym work out in the morning followed by an afternoon rugby session, both at the former Olympic Games site, the Luzhniki Sports Complex, where this weekend’s tournament will take place.
For forwards, Michael Fedo and Chris Dean, this is their first Rugby World Cup 7s and an opportunity they are relishing.
