The man who was in charge when Scotland defeated Australia to retain the Hopetoun Cup last year will referee the Wallabies return visit to Murrayfield next month.
South African Jaco Peyper (below), controlled his first Murrayfield international earlier this year when Scotland defeated Italy 34-10.
Peyper was also the man in the middle at rain-lashed Newcastle, New South Wales in June 2012 when Greig Laidlaw’s last kick of the game penalty saw Scotland account for Australia 9-6 and retain the Hopetoun Cup which they had won at Murrayfield 9-8 in 2009.

Saturday 23 November – Scotland v Australia: Referee: Jaco Peyper (South Africa). Assistant referees: Pascal Gauzere (France) and Francisco Pastrana (Argentina). TMO: Geoff Warren (England).
Meanwhile, Scotland’s Andrew McMenemy will be assistant referee at two international during the autumn, firstly in Bucharest on 9 November at the Romania v Tonga game; and then secondly in Tbilisi for the Georgia v Samoa match on 23 November. Adrian Graves from the Edinburgh Society will also act as assistant referee alongside McMenemy in Bucharest.
Jim Yuillle (Biggar) will be Television Match Official for France v New Zealand (9 November); Romania v Canada (16 November); and Wales v Australia (30 November), while Iain Ramage (Berwick) will be TMO at France v South Africa on 23 November.
