Scotland’s next home match in the RBS 6 Nations Championship – against France at Murrayfield on Saturday 8 March – is now sold out.
Last weekend’s Calcutta Cup match also attracted a 67,144 capacity crowd to the home of Scottish Rugby.
Scotland captain Greig Laidlaw (pictured above) welcomed today’s news. He said: “On behalf of the players we thank all those supporters who are continuing to back us.
“We know we haven’t given our fans much to cheer about of late but all players and management are determined to show what we can do with a performance to reward our loyal support, starting in Italy next weekend.”
Scottish Rugby’s Head of Marketing Toni Blackhurst said: “Thank you to each and every supporter who has bought tickets for our match against France.
“Last season, more than 500,000 supporters watched Scotland teams and our pro-teams in action around the country and it’s great that they continue to back the team.
“As we did with the match against England, we have launched a waiting list should we have any tickets returned from our priority rights groups. You can register for the waiting list via this website."
