Gossman eager to right Ireland wrongs v France

Ayr winger, Craig Gossman, will win his fourth Scotland Club International cap tomorrow night (Friday 7 February) against France Fédérale at the ground where he first played rugby, Old Anniesland (kick-off 7.30pm, ENTRY FREE).

Craig Gossman for Scotland Club XV v Scotland under-20Gossman said: “I’m looking forward to having the match, in my home town, Glasgow. I’m hoping there will be a big crowd and they’ll be cheering us on.”

Gossman was involved in the France tie last year in Bourgoin-Jallieu, where Scotland were defeated 44-10, but remains positive and hopes to turn things around tomorrow at Glasgow Hawks’ ground.

He continued: “We have had a lot more time to prepare for the match v France this year and this has meant we’ve become more consistent in the things we have been working on.

“We hope that the extra time together will help us make amends from the wrongs of last month too.

We go into every game with the desire to win. So, we will focus on our own game and try to secure some good ball up front, which then allows for a platform for the backs to create something.”
