Howe of Fife are holding two events in St Andrews to raise funds for an ambitious new community sports facility in Cupar.
The RBS Championship Division B club that has nurtured such talent as Scotland caps Chris Fusaro and Peter Horne (pictured above) as well as Scotland 7s internationalist Michael Fedo in recent years, are focused on the new £1million plus project which would see a major expansion in sports facilities in the town.
The two events consist of a charity golf tournament and a charity sports person’s dinner, where the main speaker will be former Scotland and British Lions lock Doddie Weir, both to be held on Saturday 28 June at the Duke’s Course and the Old Course Hotel, respectively.
Registration for the Golf Tournament is at 10:30am, with each team of four to be charged £480 for services which include a golf buggy, full use of the clubhouse and halfway refreshments.
Companies are also given the opportunity to have their banner displayed at the tee off for a price to be agreed upon application.
The three-course black tie dinner will start at 7pm and will also feature a prize draw, a raffle and an auction with tickets costing £75 per person.
In addition to the two events, the club are seeking gift aid donations and corporate sponsorship, with sponsors offered a variety of rewards for their contribution.
