A Scotland under-16 squad of 26 players has been selected following a trial at Lochinch in Glasgow on Sunday (16 March).
Two training camps will now be held at Tulliallan Police College in Fife this weekend (22-23 March) and next weekend (29-30 March), ahead of a training game against Newcastle Falcons under-16s on Sunday 30 March.
The squad will then travel to the Wellington Festival on Friday 11 April to play three games against Wales (East) on Sunday 13 April, England (North) on Wednesday 16 April and England Saxons on Saturday 19 April.
The group will be coached by Gary Mercer, Roddy Deans, Jamie Dempsey and Dave Butcher.
Scotland under-16 head coach Gary Mercer said: "We've selected an exciting squad with a lot of individual flair and talent and we will now look to mould a team over the two national camp weekends at Tulliallan.
"This is a great opportunity for this group to play at a very competitive level."
