Riddell glad to be back in Hong Kong

Scotland 7s forward Scott Riddell will win his 30th HSBC Sevens World Series cap if he is to take the field this weekend at the Hong Kong 7s.

It’ll be the second time Riddell has made the trip here.  He first came in 2009.  This weekend’s tournament at the iconic Hong Kong Stadium it is a challenge he is relishing.

The Scots will meet New Zealand (1.20pm on Friday 28 March), USA (3.34am on Saturday 29 March) and Samoa (7.14am on 29 March) in Pool D and they’ll want to come away with some strong performances because when the curtain comes down in Hong Kong, their preparations for the Emirates Airline Glasgow 7s on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 May will begin.
