The IRB have today (Tuesday 1 April) confirmed the international match official appointments for June 2014, when Scotland will embark on their summer tour.
For the North American leg of the tour, Scotland will be refereed by Pascal Gauzere (France) and Mike Fraser (New Zealand) when they play USA and Canada respectively. French referee Gauzere, will also be an assistant referee when Scotland play Argentina later in the tour.
John Lacey (Ireland) will take charge of the game against the Pumas as Glen Jackson (New Zealand) takes control of the whistle in Scotland’s final tour game v South Africa, the former also an assistant referee when the men in dark blue face the Springboks.
Scottish referee Andrew McMenemy, will officiate at the Tbilisi Cup (13-22 June), an international competition in which home-side Georgia will compete alongside with Spain/Portugal, Argentina Jaguars and an Emerging Italy side, in a round-robin tournament.
Another Scottish Rugby official, Alex Pratt, will be assistant referee for the Women’s test match between France and South Africa (Friday 4 July) in Marcoussis, France. Pratt, will make another trip to the Paris suburb a month later to take up the role of assistant referee at the Women’s Rugby World Cup.
