Caley Reds take centre stage in Cupar

Caledonia Reds will take to the field this Sunday when they face the Co-optimists at Duffus Park, Cupar (kick-off 2pm).

Under the guidance of former Scotland and Lions back-row forward Jason White, who will be their head coach, assisted by Colin Robertson and Kevin Wyness,  Caledonia are drawn from those currently playing club rugby in Scotland whose roots lie in the north and midlands of the country.

Refreshments will be available at Duffus Park from 12 noon and both pre-and post-match at the Howe of Fife RFC clubhouse in Provost Wynd, Cupar.

Prior to kick-off there will be a curtain-raiser between the under-15 teams of Howe of Fife and Highland, showcasing some of the area’s future stars.

Admission to the game will be by donation at the gate with all proceeds going to the Murrayfield Centenary Fund for injured Scottish rugby players.

Caley will follow-up this match next Sunday (4 May) with a game against Newcastle Falcons A at Pennypit Park, Prestonpans, with a 2pm kick-off.
