The countdown is on for next weekend's Emirates Airline Glasgow 7s at Scotstoun, the eighth leg of the HSBC Sevens World Series.
With seven 'sleeps' to the 7s - watch the video here - the 15 visiting international teams start arriving in Scotland today, with Fiji touching down first in Glasgow late tonight.
Forty-five matches will be played out on the main pitch at Scotstoun over the weekend of 3 and 4 May, with 16 teams aiming for the top prize, the Ned Haig Cup and the 22 Series points awarded to the Cup winner.
Going into this Glasgow leg, Scotland's Colin Gregor is 2nd leading goal scorer of the season (on 59, behind England's Tom Mitchell on 72). Gregor lies fifth in the 2013/14 points table (on 153).He's also 7th all-time points scorer (1087) with team-mate Andrew Turnbull 7th all-time try scorer (148). Scotland have scored 102 tries this season, averaging 2.6 per game.
Off the pitch, the 16 teams are due to consume around 1000 kilos of potatoes, 2000 bananas, 1500 kilos of chicken and 5200 eggs during their stay in Glasgow.
Meanwhile 49 age grade teams of boys and girls from Caithness to Cumnock will take part in the Daily Record Festival of Rugby on Scotstoun's 3G pitch over the two days, competing for honour and trophies.
A one-off head-to-head fixture between Edinburgh and Glasgow Universities will also be played out on the main pitch mid-way through day two.
