It has been confirmed today that a park and walk offering will be available at this weekend’s Emirates Airline Glasgow 7s (3-4 May).
With the entire Scotstoun Stadium campus taken over for the event with the Daily Record Festival of Rugby in association with Legacy 2014, the family zone, catering and the international tournament, Scottish Rugby have worked closely with Glasgow Life to ensure there is easy access for supporters.
Following, last week’s announcement of the shuttle buses from Buchanan Street Bus Station in the city centre and the Partick Interchange near the west end, timings below, parking can now be confirmed at the BAE car park at the west end of South Street. On street parking is also available on South Street as well.
Access to the car park is from Burnham Road, which lies just off Dumbarton Road in Whiteinch. A shuttle bus will also run from here every 15 minutes between 8.30am and 9pm on both days.
A spokesperson from Scottish Rugby said: “We’re delighted to be able to confirm a parking only 15 minutes walk away from Scotstoun Stadium to help make the tournament as accessible for everyone. This is also complemented with a shuttle bus from South Street too.”
