Supporters worldwide will be treated to a live, online double-header for free on the Daily Record website (www.dailyrecord.co.uk) this Saturday (23 August).
The games at the Greenyards, Melrose, will kick-off at 2pm UK time, with Edinburgh Rugby's pre-season clash with Leicester Tigers followed by the inaugural Scottish Rugby BT Charity Shield match between league winners, Melrose, and cup winners, Heriot's, at the same venue (kick-off 5pm).
Scottish Rugby director of commercial opertations, communications and public affairs, Dominic McKay, said:
"The new season is about to get underway and it's tremendous news that the Daily Record will once again underline its commitment to rugby in Scotland with live streaming of the double-header at Melrose this Saturday and then further coverage of the final warm-up match against Newcastle Falcons the following weekend.
"Naturally the best place to see the action is in person at the Greenyards but, regardless of where supporters are in the world, they'll be able to catch all the action.
"The Daily Record's live streaming of Scotland's summer tour Test against the USA was much appreciated by rugby fans and I'm sure supporters will welcome this latest initiative.”
Daily Record editor, Murray Foote, said: "We are delighted to be working with Scottish Rugby to screen these games exclusively at dailyrecord.co.uk.
"Our live streaming of Scotland's recent international with the USA was a huge success and this exciting new initiative further strengthens our rugby credentials."
The Edinburgh Rugby match against the Tigers is the first of 15 home games on the excellent value Edinburgh Rugby season ticket, which includes all of the club's home pool games in the European Challenge Cup and 11 Guinness PRO12 matches.
