Scotland Women under-20 team win wings for RAF match

While the senior team competes in the 6 Nations, Scotland Women under-20 also have a fixture this weekend, the first of their season, against an RAF team (k/o 2pm, Meggetland, entry free).

Many of this season's full national squad worked their way up through the pathway, into the under-20 side underlining the importance of these fixtures for player progression.

Head coach Alex Laybourne said: “'We have had some good preparation time building up to this weekend and myself and the management team are excited to see what performance the squad will produce.

“I certainly feel that we are in a strong position at this stage of the season and believe that this game, against what will be an organised and physical RAF team, will show the progress that the Scotland Women under-20s have and are making.”
