Shade Munro

Shade Munro was appointed as Scotland Women Head Coach in 2015.

Munro joined the national team set-up from Glasgow Warriors where he was an Assistant Coach to Gregor Townsend. During his time at the club Glasgow won the Guiness PRO12.

He received full international honours, gaining seven Scotland caps playing as a second-row.

Since retiring as a player in 1997 Munro worked his way up the coaching ladder working initially at club level with Glasgow Hawks.

He moved on to Glasgow Warriors as assistant coach in 2002, was part of the Scotland coaching set-up in 2006 and, as head coach in 2013, helped Scotland A to victory over England for the first time south of the border.
