Ali Price

Ali William Price made his international debut for Scotland in their 2016 Autumn Test win against Georgia, defeating them 43-16 at Rugby Park in Kilmarnock.

He had been named on the bench for their first two Autumn Tests, against Australia and Argentina respectively, but didn't feature on the field until their third fixture.

The nippy scrum-half was later named in Vern Cotter’s 2017 RBS 6 Nations squad and went on to make his Championship debut against France in Scotland’s second match of the tournament, after Greig Laidlaw was forced to leave the field with an ankle injury.

Ali went on to make his first start of the championship in the win against Wales a week later, keeping his place for the rest of the campaign.

Later that year, he was selected for the Scotland summer tour and scored his first international try against Italy in their opening match in Singapore.

Through the ranks...

Born in Kings Lynn, England, scrum-half Price qualifies for Scotland selection through his mother, and represented Scotland at under-20 level.

Since joining Glasgow Warriors for the 2013/14 season, he has accrued over 30 caps for the PRO12 side.
