Jenny Maxwell

Jennifer Rose Maxwell debuted for Scotland Women 7s in 2013 and competed in both Rugby Europe Grand Prix tournaments that year.

After a summer travelling, she was back in the squad for 2015 and earned selection in 2016 following her involvement in Scotland Women’s Six Nations campaigns

She made her full international debut in the 2015 Six Nations opener against France and has featured in every campaign since, including the Rugby World Cup Qualifiers against Spain in November 2016.

Maxwell began playing rugby at the age of six in a mixed minis side and continued to play at secondary school. She was selected for Scotland U20 in 2012/13.

Born in Leicester, she qualifies to play for Scotland through her father who is from Dumfries.

Maxwell graduated with a first class honours degree in Sport and Exercise Science at Leeds Beckett University and completed a MSc in Sport and Exercise Physiology last year. She now works as an elite sport assessor.
