James Fleming

James Stephen Fleming is renowned for the sheer pace he injects into the Scotland 7s squad and his try scoring ability.

A full-time member of the Scotland 7s squad he has touched down over 80 times including tries from the World Series (66), Rugby Europe Grand Prix Sevens Series (10), 2012 Rugby World Cup Sevens qualifier (6) and 2013 HSBC Sevens World Series qualifier (2).

Fleming was a member of the 12-man squad who lifted the London 7s Cup in 2015, where he exhibited is admirable turn of pace and power to score Scotland's first try in 27-26 win over South Africa in the tournament climax.

As well as the abbreviated national team Fleming has representative honours with Scotland Universities and the Scotland Club International team. 

Hailing from Perthshire Rugby Club James was Premier 3 Player of the Season in 2008/09, he was Scottish schools champion for the 4x100m running in 1999/00 and has performed twice at T in the Park, in 2004 and 2005, with his former heavy metal band, Allergo.
