Abi Evans

Abigail Rhian Evans took up rugby while at Oban HS and made her Scotland Women debut in the 2015 Six Nations opener against France.

She has featured in the squad since and gone on to earn seven caps. She was also selected for Scotland Women 7s in 2016 and 2017, helping the side win the Rugby Europe Tropyhy in 2017 and gaining promotion to the Grand Prix competition.

Evans played sevens for Scotland Women U19 in the 2013 UK School Games and captained the side at the same tournament the following year.

She finished her schooling at Strathallan School and was a Brewin Dolphin U188 Shield winner with Hillhead Jordanhill.

Evans also swam for Scotland at national level for six years and represented Midland district in the 2012 British Inter-Counties.
