Hugh Fraser

Scotland under-18 cap and former Merchiston Castle School pupil Hugh Henry James Fraser joined Edinburgh Rugby as an EDP in 2014, having come through the ranks with London clubs Teddington, Esher and London Irish, and is now a BT Sport Scottish Rugby Stage 3 Academy player.

Fraser, who currently plays for BT Premiership side Heriot’s, made his Scotland under-20 debut in the 24-6 win over England, in the opening game of the 2016 Six Nations Championship. 

He has represented Scotland at under-16, under-17, under-18 – setting up two of the six tries scored in the FIRA European Championships – as well as representing the Scotland under-19 against Australia a year young.

Leading up to his international experience, Fraser also represented the Edinburgh under-18 side, Middlesex at under-14, under-15 and under-16, as well as the Harlequins rugby league side. 

Fraser currently plays for BT Premiership side, Heriot’s.
