Lisa Thomson

Former pupil of Trinity PS and Hawick HS, Lisa Siobhan Thomson got involved with rugby at Jed Minis. She made her international debut against England at Broadwood in the 2016 6N opener.

She played through the pathways, East of Scotland under-18s, Scotland under-18 and under-20, and for clubs Langholm under-15 - with whom she won the Brewin Dolphin under-15 Cup in 2012 - and Murrayfield Wanderers under-18 before joining Melrose Ladies.

Currently a student of Applied Sports Science at University of Edinburgh, she was awarded the Keri Holdsworth Player of the Match when Edinburgh beat St Andrew's in the Varsity Cup in 2015.

Outside rugby, Lisa has played football for Heart of Midlothian girls under-15, under-17 and development teams.
