Lisa Thomson

Lisa Siobhan Thomson made her debut for Scotland Women 7s in the first round of the 2016 Rugby Europe Women’s Sevens Trophy in Prague.

She went on to captain the squad the following year at both legs of the Trophy in Ostrava, Czech Republic and Esztergom, Hungary.

The squad were unbeaten in 2017 to lift the Trophy, scoring 485 points and conceding just 12. They also gained promotion to the 2018 Rugby Europe Grand Prix.

Thomson, a former Hawick High School pupil, started playing rugby at the age of five and went on to play for East of Scotland U18, Scotland Women U18 and Scotland Women U20.

She also played football for Heart of Midlothian Girls U15 , U17 and development teams.
