Lyndsay O'Donnell

Lyndsay Emma O'Donnell started playing tag rugby at St John PS, progressing to a come and try session at Alloa Academy, and progressed through the pathway to Scotland under-20 (from 2010-2013) who she captained for two seasons.

A member of the Scotland Women 7s squad in 2013, she was also named Female Athlete of the year, in 2013 and 2014, while studying for a BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy at the University of Worcester. She made her international debut against France in the 2013 6 Nations.

She won the English Premiership with Worcester in 2013 and is Worcester City Council female sportsperson for 2014; she currently works as a sports therapist.

Her dad, Craig, played rugby for Alloa and also captained the Scottish Fire Brigade team. Her cousin, Cameron, plays basketball for Scotland under-18.

Outside rugby she is a guide leader and has attained Duke of Edinburgh awards at bronze and silver levels.
