Rachael Cook

A former pupil of Larbert Academy, Rachael took up rugby after she watched her brother playing at her local club, and got involved playing with the boys.

Progressing through the under-18 pathway programme into Scotland under-20 - for whom she played for two years including the win over Finland - she made her full international debut off the bench against England in the 2014 6 Nations. Her first start came on her fourth cap, later in the campaign, against Wales.

Involved with the under-19 side who participated in the 2013 Sainsbury 7s she continued to be part of the wider Scotland 7s squad in May 2014.

Currently studying sports coaching and development of sport at Forth Valley College, she has strong family links with Grangemouth RFC, where she played prior to joining Murrayfield Wanderers, with her brother and mum involved with the club.
