Gordon Reid joined Glasgow Warriors on a full-time basis ahead of season 2011/12 after delivering a string of standout performances for Ayr in Premier 1 and impressing as part of the wider Warriors squad during the previous campaign.
He made his international debut against the USA on the 2014 summer tour, followed by appearances against Canada and Argentina to complete an unbeaten start to his Scotland career. He was invovled in the subsequent Autumn Tests and RBS 6 Nations, before earning a place in the 31-man group named for Rugy World Cup 2015.
The Glasgow loosehead prop went on to score his first try for Scotland in the starting berth at Twickenham during their 61-21 defeat against England during the 2017 RBS 6 Nations.
He is now an integral part of the Warriors pack and scrums alongside Pat MacArthur, with whom he has packed down at every club, school and international age-grade the pair have played together.
