Tyrone Holmes

Tyrone Tyrie Holmes became Scotland international player number 1061 when he made his debut as a second half substitute in the final match of the 2014 summer tour against South Africa in Port Elizabeth.

Holmes joined Glasgow Warriors after playing Super Rugby for the Stormers.

He is an experienced, combative flanker who can also play at number eight.

The 27 year old South African is eligible to play for Scotland through his father and was ever present for Western Province when they won both the Vodacom Cup and Currie Cup in 2012.

He was educated at Fish Hoek High School.
