Aboyne RFC - AGM

AGM for Aboyne RFC will be held in the Douglas Arms Hotel, Banchory on Saturday 10^th May at 1800 Hrs. All members and parents of members are welcome and your attendance is vital in order for the club to make some big decisions on it’s future. There will be focus on finance (Subs for the coming year), Club name (Possible change to club name) and future development plans (Training location and facilities). Please make the effort to come along - there will also be food on offer.

TRAINING 9.30-11.00am at Tillybrake

Micro Rugby at Aboyne RFC includes players, both boys and girls, in Primary 1 through to Primary 3. Micro Rugby is all about fun, lots of running catching whilst most of the time holding and throwing a rugby ball.

Micro Rugby is non-contact. We use tags attached to belts by velco for any games. Removing a tag is like tackling.

We use size 3 balls, which are specifically made for children under the age of 8.

Training Sessions

Training sessions are generally held at Tillybrake Playing Fields, Banchory on Saturday mornings starting at 9:30am and finishing at 10:45am . If the weather is good we sometimes run over as the kids (and coaches!) are having so much fun and like wise if the weather is poor we may finish early.

Beginning & End of Season

Our 2007/08 season starts on Saturday 25th August at Tillybrake Playing Fields, Banchory .
