How does the programme work?
The Pathway
The Exiles is one of five "District" organisations that individually organise Pathway structures, from which the
Representative Programme
The Scottish Exiles Representative element of the programme works as follows:
Players attend Regional Development Group sessions at venues across the country.
If selected an invitation follows to become a member of a Regional Development Group (RDG).
Teams will be selected to play games as per the pyramidal programme for an age group.

The representative games will be watched by international selectors and the successful players may be selected to represent
Development Programme
The Scottish Exiles Development element of the programme works as follows to support the representative structure:
This meets 3-4 times per season and provides training and development information for players. There is in addition liaison with Elite academy structures existing across the country.
The RDG’s are being established across the country in conjunction with the elite clubs :
