FAQ Club Communications Meetings:

What are the Club Communication Meetings all about?

The SWRU Committee sees two way communication with its member clubs as paramount and has planned a series of club communication events for the coming season to ensure that the clubs are kept well informed and have opportunity to share information, ideas and opinions with the Committee.

The aim of these 3-4 hour evening meetings will be to provide relevant and useful information and to gather information from and about the club game.

Who should come?

We hope that every club will be able to send at least one representative from their club committee. Any club member will be welcome as resentatives from schools, universities and/or clubs who are thinking about introducing women or girls rugby.

Who is going to be there?

A mixture of people will be there at the evening including:

-Jo Wells, SWRU Community Manager
-Sandra Kinnear, SWRU Chairperson
-Beth Dickens, Senior Competitions
-Louise Dalgeish and Claire Cruickshank, Youth Competitions
-Lindsey Booth; Womens Development Officer

This is a great opportunity for clubs (or interested individuals) to ask questions about club and volunteer support - so don't miss this opportunity!

"Is it for Senior Clubs only?"

Everyone involved in womens or girls rugby is welcome! A large majority of the discussion topics will be useful for both youth and senior clubs.
