Royal Bank RugbyForce
Royal Bank RugbyForce returns for 2020, continuing to provide clubs with the expertise and tools they need to make more of their facilities on and off the pitch!
What is Royal Bank RugbyForce?
Royal Bank RugbyForce is a grassroots initiative run by Royal Bank of Scotland in association with Scottish Rugby. The programme is designed to help clubs up and down the country to attract and retain members, develop their facilities to play a bigger part of their community and be more sustainable for the future.
This year marks the 12th year of the Royal Bank of Scotland and Scottish Rugby delivering the programme together and the Royal Bank RugbyForce programme has supported 75% of Scotland’s grassroots clubs since its inception, because Royal Bank know that a rugby life is a better life.

For 2020, Royal Bank RugbyForce is offering two clubs a package to help them create a totally unique RugbyForce day - making it easy for your club to show their community how an involvement their club can give them a life better spent – on and off the field.
A further eight lucky clubs across the nation will receive £1000 in support, event support, event kit and personal appearances from Scottish rugby personalities. Royal Bank RugbyForce personalities will be on hand during the weekend in August to roll up their sleeves and get involved with anything your club needs!
An additional eight clubs will secure £1000 of support, and all other clubs being in with the chance of being awarded £250. All qualifying clubs will receive support packs to hold your own Royal Bank RugbyForce weekend on 8th and 9th of August.

The grant application process can be completed using a handy online form at http://bit.ly/RoyalBankRugbyForce2020App which will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Some top tips to consider when completing your application:
Be timely - Don’t get the submission in just in time, as you’ll probably be rushing it and not really considering what you could do as a club to meet the judging criteria. Why not be an early bird and start straight away. A well thought out, thorough entry will clearly be memorable and set the bar.
Be creative - Make your submission stand out by thinking outside the box, what could you do differently this year? This will put your club in a much better chance to make the shortlist.
Be relevant - There are some major hints in the introduction about what is being looked for this year. There are new assessment criteria for 2020 compared with previously. Answer all the questions, it sounds obvious, but don’t repeat your answers from other questions.
Be clear - What exactly are you going to do on the weekend? How will Royal Bank RugbyForce support be part of that?
Be inclusive - Think about ways you can make it easier to attract the wider community to your club on Royal Bank RugbyForce weekend
