Royal Bank RugbyForce
Royal Bank RugbyForce returns for 2020, continuing to provide clubs with the expertise and tools they need to make more of their facilities on and off the pitch!
What is Royal Bank RugbyForce?
Royal Bank RugbyForce is a grassroots initiative run by Royal Bank of Scotland in association with Scottish Rugby. The programme is designed to help clubs up and down the country to attract and retain members, develop their facilities to play a bigger part of their community and be more sustainable for the future.
This year marks the 12th year of the Royal Bank of Scotland and Scottish Rugby delivering the programme together and the Royal Bank RugbyForce programme has supported 75% of Scotland’s grassroots clubs since its inception.

Royal Bank RugbyForce 2020
Royal Bank RugbyForce are delighted to be able to fund all eligible clubs that applied this year. You will find information above on the awards made. Funds will be released in the coming weeks to enable clubs to action their project plans as per their applications, covid safety permitting.
Although the Royal Bank RugbyForce weekend on 8/9th August 2020 has been postponed please keep your project plan on your club’s committee agenda. The weekend, when it can go ahead, is a great opportunity to invite back members, players and volunteers to your club. Merchandise will be made available nearer the time of the rescheduled weekend.
We will work with those clubs that qualified for player appearances and be in touch to arrange this virtually and/or physically, keeping in mind health and safety at all times.
We have continued to work closely with Scottish Rugby’s Rugby Development department to be there for you and your club via the Club Care and Return to Rugby webinar series. Resource can be found here.
