Resistance Training Workshop

​The Resistance Training Workshop is designed for those coaching youth and adult rugby

Aims

  • Improve ability and confidence in coaching basic resistance training exercises and progressions
  • Support coaches in how to safely coach the core lifts (e.g. squat)
  • Understand the importance of strength & conditioning for rugby

Outline

The Resistance Training Workshop will last approximately 2 hours and will involve a combination of indoor and practical activities. Coaches are advised to bring writing materials/tablets as well as dressing appropriately for observing gym sessions. Please note coaches are not required to take part in the practical activities.

Registration for this workshop is FREE

Our Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Workshops are organised by approved coaching centres and delivered by Scottish Rugby accredited Coach Educators.
